As a result of the recent high rainfalls and subsequent flooding Melbourne Water is working with emergency services and other relevant agencies to review the impacts to our waterways and assets. 

For flood or storm emergency assistance, contact the VIC SES on 132 500 and for life threatening emergencies call 000. 

You can access current emergency information by calling the VicEmergency Hotline on 1800 226 226 or sign up to receive regular updates regarding flooding via the emergency.vic.gov.au website and app.

Provision of easements and reserves 3.5

​The Owner must provide easements reserves in favour of us over Works constructed as part of the Agreement or as specified within the Offer.

Easements and reserves may also be required over excavation in accordance with 'Excavations' or 'Floodplains'.

Before we'll issue a Certificate of Completion or Letter of Release (authorisation to the Council to issue a Statement of Compliance):

  1. the Owner must've provided evidence appropriate Creation of Easement documentation has been lodged with the Office of Titles to enable easements within the development to be registered in favour of us

  2. easements and reserves within the development must be specified in favour of us on the certified plan of subdivision

  3. the Owner must've provided evidence appropriate Creation of Easement documentation has been lodged with the Office of Titles to enable easements over land external to the development to be registered in favour of us

  4. Evidence must be provided to us the easement and the as-constructed asset are aligned with one another.

We recommend the use of special easement MCP0821 or MCPAA821 for the creation of easement over our assets.
