Melbourne Water has commenced construction of a new solar farm at the Eastern Treatment Plant in Bangholme, helping to meet our goal of zero net carbon emissions by 2030.

As part of the Victorian Government’s commitment to reach the 2050 emissions reduction target, Melbourne Water is constructing a solar farm in Christmas Hills.

We’re building a new mini-hydro electricity plant at our St Albans Reservoir site, which will harness a natural, sustainable and reliable source of energy to help decarbonise the Victorian electricity grid.
