World Vision Child sponsorship – A REMINDER….. If you have your name on the list to support this project, we welcome your annual $20 donation; the new donor year began on 1st August. Anyone else interested in contributing to our sponsored child in India is welcome to write their name on the list and make a donation – either pop it in the box on the back table of the Caversham Church or place in a labelled envelope and put in the Sunday offering plate/bag. The Caversham Fruit & Vege Depot will open again in Dutton Lounge this Thursday 2nd February at 10 am and also from 5 – 5.45pm that evening.

Bed-pushing at Hospital: Coastal Unity is rostered to assist with moving patients to the hospital chapel service on Sunday 5th March. If you are able to help with this please phone Sue on 487 7899.

 

Stamps: We are happy to receive your used postage stamps, which we pass on to Presbyterial to raise money for mission projects. These can be left at either church or brought to the office. Don’t clean them, but they can be trimmed (if you wish) leaving a good margin around the stamp.

Church Giving: Have you thought about making your regular donations to the parish by automatic payment??? Many people find this a very convenient way of making their regular contribution. Tax deductible receipts for all donations made by automatic payment or through the envelope system are provided after the end of March each year. The purpose of these meetings is to receive a nomination of an additional member to the Session, with the resolve that if elected a service of Induction would take place on Sunday 5th February during morning worship at Caversham.

 

January Jaunts 2017: the remaining Jaunt will be this Thursday 26th January: pot luck lunch at Elizabeth’s house. Meet at 12 noon for 12.30 lunch. Bring a plate of food to share. An afternoon of fun!
