Green Island Market Day – a HUGE thank you to all who helped with the effort at St Margaret’s yesterday – especially Alison Milne and Sue Lambie for their organisation, but also to the large number of people who contributed in so many different ways. It was a great team effort!!!


Green Island Community Festival of 9 Lessons & Carols: The choir will hold their next practice at St Margaret’s Church at 7.00pm this Tuesday, 5th December.  Make a note in your diaries to attend the Festival of 9 Lessons and Carols on Sunday 17th December at St Margaret’s Church at 7pm. Bible Society Christmas Cards for sale: $7.99 per pack. Each pack contains 12 cards and envelopes. On each card is a bible text on the theme of Christmas and a Christmas greeting. Money raised from the sale of these cards will help provide bibles for people all around the world. Available from Barbara, phone 453 0344, or at the office.


Today at Caversham Church the Dunedin Organists Association will be visiting the Caversham Presbyterian Church organ and extends an invitation to anyone who would like to join them at 2.15pm to listen. A short history of the organ will be shared and organists invited to play on the organ.


CHRISTMAS IN THE HOME: Saturday 9th December at 18 Hobson Street, St Clair from 2pm - 5pm. Dunedin  Community Christmas Dinner will again be held at the Dunedin Town Hall, (main entrance off Moray Place) on Monday 25th December, 11.30 am - 2.30pm.  This is a free meal but please phone Connect South on 4716177 to reserve a place. No alcohol served or permitted; guests need to be seated by 12 noon.
