Network Outlook 2021

Our water and sewerage networks are facing increasing challenges from population growth and climate change to droughts and floods. Making sure Melbourne’s world-class water and sewerage networks can cope with future demands is critical.

Melbourne Water and the water retail companies work together to ensure the network has capacity for whatever the future holds. Together, have developed a sophisticated, interactive tool, Network Outlook, to model how the system might perform in a variety of future population, climate, and water management scenarios, so we can find and fix any issues well before they emerge.

Network Outlook 2021

Network Outlook is helping us future-proof the network on which we all rely.
